Casos de Uso
Monocultura
Proteja os valiosos recursos florestais com detecção precoce de incêndios, minimizando danos e reduzindo custos de seguro.
Agricultura
Safeguard crops and farmland from fires, preserving yields and reducing economic loss.
Florestas e Parques
Monitorar grandes áreas florestais em busca de riscos de incêndio, permitindo uma resposta rápida e prevenindo a destruição generalizada.
High-risk areas
Ensure the safety of fire prone areas by detecting fires early.
IIlegal logging (Beta)
Chainsaw and other sounds are detected and alerted. Our sensors come equipped with acuity noise detectors.
Research
Support environmental and machine learning research with accurate data on air quality, fire prevention, and wildlife protection.
10% of global emissions
Wildfires contribute about 10% of global CO2 emissions, releasing 2 to 4 billion metric tons of CO2 annually. This accelerates climate change, leading to more frequent and severe fires.
Wildlife and Biodiversity loss
Fires destroy habitats, leading to significant biodiversity loss. This disrupts ecosystems and affects human populations that depend on these resources.
Air quality and health
Smoke from wildfires degrades air quality, causing respiratory and cardiovascular issues, particularly in vulnerable groups such as children and the elderly.
Soil degradation
Intense heat from fires destroys soil organic matter, reducing fertility and increasing erosion.
Economic impact
The economic costs of forest fires are immense, including firefighting expenses, property damage, and health care costs, which can strain public resources and hinder development.
Climate feedback loop
Os incêndios criam um ciclo de retroalimentação climática, com o aumento das emissões de CO2 acelerando o aquecimento global, levando a mais incêndios e maior instabilidade climática.
What is the price?
We charge a monthly subscription per sensor depending on the number of sensors and the size of the area you wish to monitor. Please contact us for more information and exact pricing.
What is the coverage area for each sensor?
Each sensor is able to detect a forest fire from about 50 meters away, depending on a variety of factors such as wind and humidity. For a highly responsive system, we recommend 4 sensors per hectare. For high-risk areas such as near roads or trails, more sensors are used.
Do you offer warranty?
We offer a 90-day no-questions-ask money back guaruante, and a one-year warranty.
How was the sensor developed and tested?
Our gas sensor was rigorously tested in both controlled environments and real-world settings. We used a specialized gas chamber and conducted bonfire experiments to simulate various fire conditions and refine the sensor’s accuracy. Extensive field tests in diverse environments, including rural areas in Brazil and the United States, ensured the sensor's reliability. Continuous data analysis and algorithm development allowed us to distinguish fire-related gas emissions from other environmental factors.
How rugged are the sensors?
Our sensors are designed to run maintence-free for 10 years and withstand harsh environmental conditions, making them exceptionally rugged and durable. They are built to operate effectively in extreme temperatures, high humidity, and varying weather conditions. The robust construction ensures reliable performance even in remote and challenging locations.
1
Our algorithm detects a change in atmospheric gas composition and sends an alert. Think of it like an outdoor smoke detector.
2
Using LoRa, a signal is sent from the sensor to the base station, which then uses starlink to relay an alert to the end users.
3
Users receive an alert in their phone based on their preference (text, email, phone call), as well as on the online dashboard and physical alarm.
